The oversized gray top coat is my favorite. I actually found one that was similar last winter at Marshalls. I have gotten more compliments on the style. I found myself wearing it with jeans, and also wearing it out on a dressy occasions. Red is one of the hot colors for next winter. I love red, and I think it always make a fashion statement, it stands out in any crowd. I did not find any incidents or problems with women that wear faux furs. I do have a friend that has a very real looking faux fur mens purple jacket, and she had a problem with a woman stopping her in the grocery store, and giving her a loud lecture. When she told the woman it was fake fur, she said she apologized. Good luck with that new coat.

I have to say the I love the gray oversized top coat and the first faux fur coat. In your research, have you found that protestors are more respectful of faux fur, or are they just as likely to throw something at you as they did back in the day—-when women wore real fur? Odd question perhaps, but I’d hate to buy a fur faux only to have it ruined by a protestor.

I currently have a wool coat (red) that I get a lot of compliments on. I have three coats actually—all in different colors. Hmmm. I think I may need another one.
